Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD
is one. 5 Love the LORD your God
with all your heart and with all your soul
and with all your strength. 6
These commandments that I give you today are
to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress
them on your children. Talk about them when
you sit at home and when you walk along the
road, when you lie down and when you get up.
8 Tie them as symbols on your
hands and bind them on your foreheads.
9 Write them on the doorframes of your
houses and on your gates.
Deuteronomy 6:5-9
God has placed
an awesome responsibility in the hands of
parents to be the Spiritual Leaders of their
children. It is our Goal to walk along
side you in this task and provide resources
and prayer to partner with you through the
power of the Holy Spirit to grow your
children into Spiritual Champions. Our
prayer is that the resources, events, and
information contained on this site will be a
blessing to your family.

DEVOTIONS
Jesus often got away from the
busyness of life and had one on
one communion with the Father.
This is a model we and our
children should follow. The
Children’s Ministry at FBBC
wants to help you as parents
follow in Jesus’s example and
help your school aged child
model the spiritual discipline
of having a daily quiet time.
We offer the following resources
to aid your children in having a
quiet time:
More by Lifeway (Children in 1st
and 2nd Grade)
Adventure by Lifeway (Children
in 3rd and 4th
Grade)
Bible Express by Lifeway
(Children in 5th and
6th Grade)
These monthly devotion guides
offer age and gender appropriate
guides to help your school aged
child grow in their individual
relationship with God while
exploring His Word daily.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH
We
believe that a family worshiping
together is the ideal God’s plan
for the health and spiritual
growth of families. In an
effort to help our younger
school aged kids transition to
“Big Church”, we offer a child
friendly environment for our
Kindergarten through 3rd
graders to learn God’s word and
understand the etiquette and
meaning of worship. Our
Children’s church runs in Fall
and Spring along the school
calendar and the kids receive
sermons that follow what their
parents get in “Big Church.”
This way, mom and dad can still
reinforce the learning. You can
download the key lessons and
worksheets here:
- Week 1: We've
Been Stamped
- Week 2: Jesus
Did It!
- Week 3: Jesus
Did It!
- Week 4: We Are
Family
- Week 5: Deep
and Wide

AWANA
Awana is a Bible club for ages 2
through 6th grade.
Awana blends Bible teaching,
Scripture memorization and tons
of fun. It contains handbook
time (scripture verse
memorization exercises), council
time (a biblical story relayed
in a way that is easy to
understand), game time, and
award time (every night, the
children receive stickers or
jewels for their badges.) Each
Semester of AWANA, the kids
participate in a MISSIONS
Project (Fall – Operation
Christmas Child, Spring – Egg
Stuffing for A North American
Missions Project)
